The recommended water temperature for residential hot water tanks is 120 degrees or less. Use meat cooking thermometer that will register up to 200 degrees to determine the temperature of your water. Ensure that the faucet is all the way to the hottest position while testing the water temperature. Please DO NOT use a fever thermometer as they can explode with extreme temperatures. We are working on getting new kits and hope to have them for you soon. Check back we will post their availability on our website www.wscffburn.org.
