    Evan Stanley

Evan Stanley has been involved with the WSCFF Burn Foundation since 2011 with his time at Ocean Shores Fire, IAFF Local 2109.  L2109 is proud to support the foundation, specifically Camp Eyabsut, by hosting a lunch at camp each summer. Now working for Central Pierce Fire and Rescue, IAFF Local 726, Evan continues his involvement with Camp Eyabsut by helping his new Local also host one of the lunches. If you are interested in hosting one of the meals at camp (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) reach out to Evan and find out how. Aside from being a counselor for the entire week, it's one of the best ways to see how amazing the campers and staff really are, and how much of a positive impact camp makes in these children's lives. Evan was elected as the WSCFF Burn Foundation 4th District Rep in 2017. The 4th District includes all the fire departments in Kitsap, Mason, and Pierce Counties, with the exception of Tacoma FD, which by themselves make up District 6. Evan is married, and he and his wife, Lauren, have a young daughter named Sawyer.

    Brian Kane
Brian was born and raised in Renton, WA. He started his fire service journey in 1982 with Seattle's Fire Explorer program. In 1986 he became a volunteer with King Co. Fire Dist. 40. He worked for the Boeing Fire Dept. starting in 1989, before getting hired with Dist. 40 in 1992. In 2008, Renton annexed half of the fire district and the fire fighters merged into the city. Brian still lives in Renton with his wife, Michelle. They are the proud parents of two sons and a daughter-in-law. The entire family enjoys helping the foundation, and have done so since the beginning, when it was the Northwest BF.

    Micky McLain

Hi my name is Mickey McLain! I'm a professional firefighter for South King Fire & Rescue, IAFF Local 2024, and serve as the 9th district rep for the WSCFF Burn Foundation. My passion for serving came after being seriously burned in a car accident when I was young. It was through this healing process that both my family and I were supported by the Burn community. As a kid, I spent a week every summer for ten years attending a Camp Eyabsut. It was there that I felt most accepted, and free to show off my scars without being judged or made fun of. I  now spend much of my time volunteering within the  burn community, helping with everything from Burn Camp to the Burn Unit at Harborview. I also volunteer as a peer support counselor for newly burned patients and enjoy hearing and learning how I can better support them. I started volunteering for the Burn Foundation in 2016 after meeting some of the WSCFFBF members.  I would love to hear from locals interested in volunteering in the burn community or that would be interested in doing a boot drive or other fundraiser to help raise money for the foundation.

    Brian Duthie

Brian Duthie has been involved with Burn Camp since 2009.  A ten year Air Force Reserve Veteran with three Deployments overseas, Brian has always had a passion for service. He is currently a firefighterfor the City of Everett. “The kids at Burn Camp instantly take hold of you...they bring you  into their family...” Brian has been a counselor in the oldest boys' cabin (Grizzly Bears) his entire time volunteering, and has been planning their “off-site” adventures for the past two years since the passing of Jim Swift. “Jim can never be replaced, he was like a Father figure, not only to the kids, but to me as well.” Brian was elected to the WSCFF Burn Foundation board as the 10th District Rep in 2017.
